Responsibilities
- Operate standup forklift safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers with accuracy and care.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain an organized and clean warehouse workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist in inventory control processes, including cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Follow all company policies and safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Valid standup forklift operator certification or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking and inventory management.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation purposes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
