Custom Service Technician

Our automotive client is looking for a service technician to work on custom small-engine vehicles. The service technician will be responsible for assembling, troubleshooting, performing repairs, and explaining services to the customers. A high level of customer service is expected in this role.

Starting Pay: $18.00 – 20.00/hour DOE (review at 6 & 12 months)

Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm (Monday-Friday)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assemble and repair small-engine specialty vehicles.
• Assist customers in sales, service, and parts.
• Remove and replace engine components, vehicle bodies, parts, and accessories.
• Perform preventative and regular maintenance.
• Inspect vehicles and identify additional recommended services.
• Explain diagnostic test results to customers.

Qualifications:

• Clean driving record/Valid Driver’s License.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Ability to multitask & problem solve.
• Able to work 40+ hours a week especially in busy season (May-Aug).
• Basic electrical/wiring experience preferred.
• Volt meter experience preferred.
