Job Summary: The Fund Development Coordinator – Fundraising is responsible for the implementation of the agency’s gift processing, donor acknowledgement process and maintaining development records in the donor database, including communications with donors, donor research, and performing administrative services in support of the YWCA mission, goals and objectives under the direction of the Director of Development and Community Relations.

Job Duties:

  • Nurture relationships with donors and prospects.
  • Ensure receipt of contributions through various payment methods, including cash, check, credit card, direct deposit/automatic debit, on-line and stock.
  • Coordinate direct mail fundraising campaigns, including the creation and maintenance of mailing lists and letters within the donor database.
  • Process acknowledgement letters to all donors within 48 hours of gift receipt.
  • Provide administrative support.
  • Prepare fundraising reports for leadership.
  • Serve as department liaison with finance department.
  • Prepare and provide pledge reminders to pledging donors.
  • Provide requested statements to donors.
  • Work with Director on coordination of in-kind donations.
  • Work with the director on building the association’s Legacy program Process payable accounts for services rendered for Department.
  • Assist with events and volunteers.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

  • Bachelor’s degree. Strong preference for nonprofit experience in fundraising.

  • Performs electronic installation and troubleshooting.
  • Responsible for the automated equipment operations, setup, and maintenance.
  • Installs, maintains, dismantles, repairs, overhauls, and rebuilds equipment.
  • Fabricates parts with precision required to meet specifications.
  • Ensures safety devises are in place and in proper operation. Inspects for and reports needed repairs to supervisors.
  • Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.
