CNC Machinist will be responsible for the basic operation of the HAAS/DAEWOO type of machines and auxiliary equipment. This includes the start up and shut down of equipment, manual operation of spindle, tarret axis, and other machine functions.

Starting Pay: $20.00/ HR

Shift: 2:30pm – 1:00am – Monday through Thursday

Duties include:

• Operation of all functions on control panels
• Understanding of machine codes
• Understanding of X and Z Coordinate system
• Automatic operation of any programs including necessary input
• Navigate the required displays
• Call up program and start/restart program as needed
• Verify state of machine, active functions and controls before starting program
• Load/unload machine and inspect all product. (medium, heavy lifting required)

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for-

• Kitting of shop orders to the production floor in a timely and accurate manner

• Following all guidelines spelled out in the SOP-Stockroom Kitting

• Performing Cycle Counts and being a key participant in the annual Physical Inventory

Requirements:

• Maintain accuracy of picking and shop order kitting activities

• Support Receiving, Return to Stock and de-kit material actions

• Maintain inventory material locations

• Ensure accuracy of inventory through various transactions in accordance with procedures

• Responsible for understanding and use of all electrical, mechanical and optical test equipment, test fixtures, and procedures
