  • Must be able to remove bale wires and all visible foreign material from baled scrap.
  • Helps lift and position materials for production.
  • Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
  • Maintains a safe, clean and organized work environment.
  • Operate sitdown forklift to load and unload bundles of metal scrap.
  • Sort materials to correct locations.
  • Assist in running the foam machine during pouring operations
  • Check & maintain proper chemical levels in run tanks
  • Enter/adjust flow controls where necessary
  • Prepare and assemble mechanical components required to set up machine for operation
  • Assist with ensuring all foam machine troughs are properly maintained and installed

Job Requirements:

  • REQUIRES at least 3 months of sitdown forklift experience in the last year (for Machine Operator position)
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, including the ability to compute fractions, ratios, weights, and percentages.
  • Must be capable of learning and comprehending job assignments, possess good memory and recall abilities, troubleshoot problems and independently implement solutions
  • Previous manufacturing experience, specifically dealing with chemicals
  • Previous machine operating experience
