Location: Honolulu

Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 annually (depending on experience)

We are seeking a permanent Operations Manager (Millwork & Cabinetry) to oversee the daily operations of a custom millwork and cabinetry shop supporting commercial construction projects throughout Hawaii. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for managing production operations, reviewing shop drawings, coordinating materials and vendors, and leading a team of skilled fabrication professionals.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in millwork, cabinetry, fabrication, or construction operations, along with proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Information:

• Oversee the daily operations of a custom millwork and cabinetry shop with approximately seven fabrication team members.
• Review and interpret architectural plans, specifications, and shop drawings using AutoCAD.
• Conduct daily production meetings, assign workloads, and ensure projects are progressing on schedule.
• Coordinate project timelines and priorities with internal project teams.
• Manage multiple projects ranging from custom cabinetry to commercial millwork installations.
• Source, order, and coordinate materials from domestic and international suppliers.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and monitor material lead times.
• Partner with fabrication staff to resolve production issues and maintain quality standards.
• Track production schedules, labor utilization, and project progress.
• Support a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in millwork, cabinetry, woodworking, manufacturing, fabrication, or construction operations management.
• Strong AutoCAD experience.
• Ability to read and review shop drawings, architectural plans, and construction documents.
• Experience coordinating purchasing, material procurement, and vendor relationships.
• Proven leadership experience in a production, shop, or manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong computer skills and comfort working in both office and shop settings.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
