Job Description

Remedy Staffing is looking for a motivated and dependable Housekeeper to join the housekeeping team at a local hotel in Alexandria, LA. In this role, you will help ensure guest rooms and hotel areas are fresh, clean, organized, and ready for guests.

We are seeking someone who works well as part of a team, stays productive throughout the shift, and takes pride in providing guests with a clean and comfortable place to stay. Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is helpful, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are equally important.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and refresh guest rooms for arriving and current guests
• Change bed linens and make beds according to hotel standards
• Thoroughly clean and disinfect guest bathrooms
• Vacuum carpets and sweep or mop flooring
• Wipe down and dust furniture, fixtures, mirrors, and other surfaces
• Remove trash and used linens from guest rooms
• Replenish towels, toiletries, and other room essentials
• Keep housekeeping carts stocked, neat, and ready for use
• Turn in any lost and found items according to hotel procedures
• Follow established safety and sanitation procedures
• Complete additional housekeeping tasks as assigned
