Key Responsibilities

Summary:
The Maintenance Specialist ET is responsible for a variety of duties including but not limited to conducting planned maintenance activities, installing, maintaining, and operating all plant electrical, troubleshooting and programming PLC’s according to policy and procedure while observing all safety regulations and ensuring GMP and quality standards are met to maintain the efficient flow of production. The ET G1 is responsible for all electrical throughout the entire production facility. The ET G1 is the subject matter expert of plant electrical issues.
Job Duties:
- Install, maintain, and operate all plant electrical (e.g., switch gear, high/low volt, drives, parts, lighting, etc.)
- Set-up all electronic equipment for scheduled production runs
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all electronic equipment (e.g., wiring, scales, metal detectors, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and program PLC’s and encoder systems including wiring – Conduct daily/weekly electrical PM’s
- Fabricate custom electronic parts
- Assist and implement safety devices and processes on production lines
- Complete required reports (e.g., PM, Work Orders, Centerline, etc.) in English
- Provides training to other employees
- Write/modify electrical circuits and PLC programs
- May perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Experience Required:
- Minimum 3-5 years of electrical/electronic or related experience required. PLC certification highly preferred.
- Extensive background in Mechanical Systems preferred
- Knowledge of Visual Basic, C#, C++, MS .NET, SQL preferred
- Advanced knowledge & experience in Allen-Bradley SLC, Control Logix required, Modicon 984LL/Unity preferred
- Knowledge with Siemens S5, S7, PCS7 preferred
- Experience with HMI Software (RSView32, RSView Studio) required
- Rockwell software (logix 500/5000) required
- Proficient using Touch Screen applications required
- Knowledge of process control servers strongly preferred
- Extensive working knowledge of motor controls & variable frequency drives, servo drives, DC drives required
