We have IMMEDIATE openings for associates as Customer Service Representative. Join a team-oriented environment with room for advancement while working to package products for store displays in this Temp to Hire opportunity.

Shift/Hours:

Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm.

Pay: $19/hour 

SUMMARY

This position is typically dedicated to a specific customer account and will be responsible for most activities related to maintaining that account including handling freight, keying inventory transactions, and customer communications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Work with customers to coordinate shipments to and from warehouse to meet key customer delivery requirements.

• Generate associated documents for customer shipments including warehouse pick sheets, packing lists, and bills of lading.

• Receive inbound freight and verify contents. Reconcile product received with packing list information to identify any discrepancies.

• Create and apply labels to properly identify parts per customer specifications.

• Communicate with customer and carriers for transporting customer orders and receipts. This includes greeting drivers as they arrive, communicating loading and unloading instructions, and signing necessary documents.

• Promptly communicate any problems to the customer associated with outbound shipments and inbound receipts, including product availability, damage, inventory discrepancies, and carrier issues.

• Furnish customer with inventory reports such as stock status, transaction history, and tracing information as requested.

• Enter inventory transactions into the warehouse management system (WMS) or customer-specific data system and manage the integrity of inventory accuracy. Properly file associated warehouse and shipping documents for future reference.

• Effectively communicate with warehouse operations to ensure proper scheduling of activities including inbound and outbound freight, physical inventories, cycle counts, and special customer requests/projects.

• Maintain a good understanding of warehouse GMP’s to apply to customer activities.

• Keep warehouse management informed of customer feedback and any signs of customer dissatisfaction.

• May oversee Sample Room duties including sample production.

• Additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

• General office experience, including telephone techniques and computer skills. o Experience working in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required

  • Prior experience with Dynaway AX Asset Mgmt. Software helpful
  • Zebra Printer, printers and copy machines
  • 2-way Radio
  • Multi-line phone system

 

• Must be an organized individual who is able to handle multiple tasks at a time while effectively communicating with customers and warehouse operations.

• Communication skills, both written and oral, are necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers.

• Must be able to identify problems and make recommendations to solve problems.

• Attention to detail and accuracy are foremost in the ability to maintain accurate inventory.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and related company or customer data systems needed.

• Some prior customer service and/or warehouse experience desired. As a direct company representative of the Company’s customers this position requires a professional demeanor and provide a high level of customer service at all times.

Role Responsibilities: Provide basic technical support to business clients. Troubleshoot application issues, basic diagnosing of the desktop/laptop software problems. Onsite IT Support Associate, responsible for managing the technical support needs of the site. This includes overseeing new hire onboarding, maintaining onsite printers, and addressing all technical issues on the premises. As the primary point of contact for IT at this location, the contractor must be approachable and customer-focused, acting as the face of the IT department. – Key responsibilities include issuing laptops, replacing hardware, and performing software updates. Support is provided through an internal ticketing system, where ticket volumes can range from 10 to over 60 per day. The contractor will manage tickets and cases via chat, rather than through a call center environment, though in-person assistance is also required, as this is an onsite role in a full office environment. – Support is provided to USF internal employees both on-site and remotely, with remote assistance handled via chat. While ticket volumes can be as high as 80 interactions on particularly busy days, there are also quieter days with as few as 10.

Day shift

Responsible for the set-up and operation of a manual spinning lathe to form product. Involves the manual manipulation of a roller to shape blank discs of metal over molds on a lathe. Manual spinning relies on the skill and expertise of the operator to apply adequate pressure to the blank against the forming tool. • Spin form various components from a range of material grades and thicknesses • Lifting and slinging of components, tooling, and machine ancillaries • Produce components within agreed cycle times • Produce components that conform to all specifications listed on engineering drawings • Produce components that satisfy all internal and external quality control measures • Maintain visual checks throughout the process and take corrective action where required • Inspect parts to determine if the product meets quality/customer specifications, taking appropriate action concerning parts that are not to customer/quality standards

Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking motivated Apprentice Welders to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate welding machines to assemble and weld metal parts used in production. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with some prior experience working with materials, manufacturing, or production environments who are eager to grow their skills and advance in the trade.

Responsibilities

  • Operate welding machines to join and assemble metal components
  • Handle and lift metal parts safely throughout the production process
  • Follow detailed instructions and maintain high attention to quality standards

Let’s talk about the available shift:

  • 1st Shift: 5:00am-3:00pm Monday-Friday, OT available
  • 2nd Shift: 4:00pm-2:30am Monday-Friday, OT available 

The Pay for the Bilingual Production Workers:

  • 1st Shift: $20/hr
  • 2nd Shift: $21/hr
  • Over time pay is paid at 1.5x your rate, after 40 hours per week is worked

Job Duties of the Bilingual Production Workers :

  • Assemble mattresses as outlined in established work instructions using a variety of pneumatic tools
  • Including but not limited to the assembly of units on the machine; application of various, specified upholstered layers to open coil units; foam-encased pocketed coil units; application of specified upholstery layers; foam encasing and final mattress assembly

Job Requirements:

  • Must stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours per day or longer if overtime is required.
  • Must be able to lift heavy product or raw materials up to 50 pounds, multiple times per hour during an 8-hour shift or longer in overtime situations to meet customer demand. (Heavy loads must be team-lifted)
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish OR English and Swahili
