Job Opening: Painter

Remedy Staffing has immediate openings for 2nd shift painters and buffers in Preble, NY!

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM

Days: Monday – Thursday

*Training will be conducted on 1st shift.

Pay: $22/hr

Experience: Must have 1 year of manufacturing experience

Job Duties: 

Applicants applying for the Painter position must have 1 year of experience in the following:

Surface Preparation: Cleaning, sanding, degreasing, and masking surfaces to ensure proper paint adhesion.

Painting & Coating: Mixing, blending, and applying primer, base coats, and clear coats using spray equipment.

Buffing & Finishing: Removing paint defects (dust, orange peel) through wet sanding and buffing/polishing techniques.

Equipment Maintenance: Cleaning and servicing spray guns, hoses, nozzles, and buffer machines.

Applicants applying for the Buffer position must have 1 year of experience in the following: 

Sanding 

Taping 

Equipment maintenance
