MANUFACTURING SHIFT SUPERVISOR
Our manufacturing client is looking for a Floor Supervisor to manage 4-6 assemblers and machine operators. The Floor Supervisor will also be responsible for Safety Leadership and Continuous Improvement.
Pay Range: $70,000-$80,000 DOE
Hours: 4:30am-3:30pm/5:30am-4:30pm Monday-Friday, OT as required
Duties:
· Hire, train, and lead 4-6 person manufacturing team, ensuring daily, weekly, and monthly production goals are met.
· Lead shift meetings to review individual and team goals and areas of accountability.
· Serve as primary communication link between shop floor and management team, providing updates and progress to supervisors at shift changeover.
· Ensure all team members are equipped with proper PPEs and have strong understandings of safe work practices and incident reporting procedures.
· Assist in leading team safety meetings, audits, and incident investigations.
· Coordinate materials and appropriate staffing needed to achieve production goals.
· Maintain accurate documentation of production goals, labor needs, and quality inspections.
· Monitor equipment usage and downtime, identifying ways to reduce costs and increase productivity.
· Support 5S Methodology or other improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
· 3-5 years of assembly and machine operating experience.
· 2-3 years supervisory experience.
· Strong safety mentality and ability to drive a “zero-incident” culture.

- Bend spacer channels used to separate glass panes.
