Job Description: Shipping/Recieving Clerk Responsible for shipping, receiving, returns, carrier relations, order management, product management and customer service.

Tasks to Perform:

– Check in and out truck drivers in a timely manner.
– Accurately handle all transactions
– Assign drivers to doors to be loaded and unloaded.
– Assign material handlers to load and unload the trucks.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding the right HVAC/R products and supplies for their needs. Provide expert advice, product information, and recommendations.
• Order Processing: Accurately process customer orders, ensuring that all requested items are available, properly priced, and invoiced correctly. Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our HVAC/R product inventory, including specifications, compatibility, and pricing. Stay up to date with industry trends and new product releases.
• Stock Management: Monitor and replenish stock levels on the sales floor. Conduct regular inventory counts and report any discrepancies to the store manager.
• Technical Support: Assist customers in troubleshooting and finding solutions to technical issues related to HVAC/R equipment and components.
• Sales Promotion: Promote sales and special offers to customers, upsell products when appropriate, and identify opportunities to cross-sell related items

  • Inspect print quality for proper ink coverage and density, alignment, registration, tension, and die cut per customer job ticket requirements.
  • Perform basic maintenance using hand tools as needed.

·                Utilizes established guidelines and internal protocol to determine if client meets medical eligibility criteria based on review of medical records and client psychosocial history. 

·                Applies knowledge of aging process, activities for daily living and medical conditions to written case-notes. 

·                Justifies medical eligibility recommendation through written narratives which summarize client’s current situation, limitations and needs. 

·                Presents case-notes and medical eligibility recommendations to Registered Nurse for approval, and adjusts to professional feedback provided by Registered Nurse and/or Supervisor?

Remedy Intelligent Staffing is looking for a motivated candidate to join our branch office team in Waterloo to help provide recruiting and staffing support. The recruiters in our locally owned and managed Remedy offices are experts in matching what associates do best with what our client companies value most.

The recruiter’s job is to support our clients by meeting their staffing needs. The recruiter will identify candidates for temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct hire jobs for our clients in the surrounding areas.

Location: Waterloo, Iowa

Shift: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Pay: starting at $18/Hour – salary based on experience

Benefits: insurance, PTO, and 401K match

Requirements: The ideal candidate would have experience in telemarketing, B2B selling, retail sales, customer service, or other direct customer contact positions. Previous staffing and management experience is preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with assigned clients to provide staff for their needs working under “speed to fill” expectations
  • Handle all aspects of recruiting, including interviewing, onboarding, completion of hiring paperwork and placement
  • Communicate effectively with associates and clients by phone, email, and text
  • Work with managers, associates, and colleagues to meet client requirements and provide any reporting information as requested
  • Support other branches from the Waterloo office for vacation and peak use coverage
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Skill and Experience Responsibilities:

  • Solid computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office 365
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills including the ability to empathize, coach, and deliver bad news (discipline, ending assignments, etc.) as needed
  • Strong phone skills and understanding and use of email and texting tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate issues with manager(s) and the importance of documentation
  • Must be comfortable working with social media platforms and willing to post information about Remedy
