Job Opening: Acme Davenport CNC Screw Machine Machine Operators and Technicians

Remedy Staffing is now looking to fill several machine operator positions.

Job titles may include:

Acme Gridley

CNC

Davenport

Hydromat

Screw Machine

Machine Setters/Set up Operators

Automation Machines

Automation Technicians

Locations: East Syracuse & Syracuse

Hours: 1st and 2nd shift available

Days: depending on position

Pay: depending on experience

Job duties may include:

Operates a line of multiple spindle screw machines, checking for quality of parts

Responsible for maintaining production levels and quality standards

Remove, sharpen and reset tools as necessary

Load barstock and pull chips as necessary

Maintain tool log sheets

Perform all SPC charting as required for a specific job or group of machines

Perform set-up operations as needed, making adjustments, completing repairs as necessary and reporting problems to line coordinator

Perform basic maintenance

Follow preventative maintenance program

Troubleshoot machine, tooling and part issues

Experience Required:

Set up and operating experience on screw machines

Excellent math skills

Ability to use micrometers and other measuring devices

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Knowledge of mechanical gearing, cams, hydraulics, and electrical systems

At least two years of automated machine experience
