Responsible for inspecting parts to specifications and making adjustments, or tool changes as necessary to accurately complete tasks in a timely fashion. Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery.

Responsible for powder coating multiple racks of parts and shades in many different shapes and sizes in a fast pace environment. Spray Power Coat, Prep Parts, maintain machines and keep work area clean. Maintain records of coated parts and colors. Ability to change color and clean booth multiple times during the shift and ensure to no color contaminates the other. Move racks in and out of the oven reaching high temperatures. Assist in solvent cleaning and racking parts. Work in accordance with all safety procedure and policies, and wear all PPE as needed.

Produce machined parts by using Manual and/or automated (CNC) lathes to fill work orders while maintaining quality and safety standards.• Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as manual or CNC lathes, milling machines, prototrak mill, or grinders• Operate hand lathe, mill, drill press and punch press• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications in order to select and program the proper speeds, feeds, for various metals, and operating conditions• Select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to be used• Lay out, measure, and mark workpiece in order to display placement of cuts• Position workpiece on the drill press, lathe, or milling machine• Monitor the feed and speed of machines and accuracy of cuts during the machining process• Ensure workpiece is properly lubricated to regulate temperature• Observe and listen to operating machines or equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions and to determine need for adjustments or repairs• Write basic programs and modify programs in response to problems for CNC machines• Measure, examine, and test completed units in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers• 2 years of GibbsCAM experience required• Must be able to use a tape measure, calipers, micrometers, and understand radius gauges
