The Recruiter will be responsible for high-volume, fast-paced recruiting with a focus on attracting entry-level, hourly employees across all five of our plants (three in the US and two in Canada), while advancing the Kingspan brand. They will perform full lifecycle recruiting while maintaining excellent relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and the broader community. This role will have a key focus on further developing our talent acquisition strategies and employment brand. A wide degree of creativity, near- and long-term recruiting vision, business understanding, and personal organization is required. This position will partner with the subsidiary company, the Recruiting Manager, HR Director, and Plant Managers to develop and execute staffing strategies, enhance the company’s visibility/reputation in key recruiting channels, and help position Kingspan as an employer of choice amongst target candidates.
Responsible for full life cycle recruiting for high-volume manufacturing/warehouse/labor roles; engaging with applicants from the screening phase to onboarding.
· Source, recruit, screen, interview, and assess high volumes of candidates for non-exempt and exempt roles, primarily focusing on hourly manufacturing roles, to exceed the hiring manager's needs and expectations.
· Requisition Management, conducting pre-screening interviews and coordinating phone, video, and onsite interviews - acting as the liaison between the candidate and the manager.
· Manage the offer process, including pre-employment checks, offer letter generation, and offer acceptance/turndowns.
· Revise job descriptions, staffing, and sourcing procedures to continually improve and streamline the recruiting process and to maximize resources.
· Consult on market trends, hourly rates for contingent labor, and advise on hiring strategies, and keep a pulse on the local talent pool.
· Must possess excellent judgment to prioritize work, handle multiple projects at once, and meet objectives.
· Proactively identify, source, and recruit candidates utilizing a variety of sources, including, but not limited to, job boards, internet searching, sourcing tools, referrals, networking, local schools, job fairs, social media, and talent communities/career opportunity organizations.
· Build strategic alliances and maintain relationships with staffing agencies, universities and technical colleges, military TAP personnel, local employment offices, community organizations, professional and non-profit organizations, and government agencies to positively impact the recruiting efforts and name branding.
