Parts Puller will follow orders that dictate which part is needed for a particular order. Parts pullers need to be knowledgeable about stocking and inventory procedures and be able to handle things in an orderly manner. Particularly, parts pullers receive and issue parts, store items, maintain records and compile stock reports. Essential Duties and Responsibilities, One or more of the following:• Receive items and ensure that they are transported to designated areas quickly and accurately• Take and comprehend orders for pulling parts or items• Locate requested items from storage areas and inspect them for conformity to order type• Ascertain that pulled part is intact and has no defects, brought on by staying in storage for a period of time• Place items on hand truck or forklift in a safe manner and operate the correspondent machinery to transport them to the assembly lines.• Use RF guns to properly scan the material or part number so it can be reduced from inventory levels.• Ascertain accuracy of part shipped in accordance to pulling instructions• Assist parts inventory and ensure that any item low in stock is communicated to correspondent personal immediately• Process returns by completing required paperwork and ensuring that details are updated in the inventory database.

Follow production schedule as determined by production supervisor or line leader. Work as team member in production line jobs using basic equipment. Operate automatic stripping, crimping, IDC tools. Must be able to read mechanical drawings. Inspect complete parts being produced per drawings. Operate hand crimping tools. Perform Pull tests on setups and first pieces. Operate test station. Level 2 soldering of electrical componants. Build level 1and 2 first article pieces. Perform basic setup on crimping presses. Setup test fixtures. Knowledge of standard IPC-620Must be able to demonstrate basic working knowledge of and actively contribute to Lean Manufacturing processes. EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION: Manufacturing exposure or background in electronics - understands Bills-of-Materials, Process sheets Electrical technician/troubleshooting skills. Excellent interpersonal communication – a team player. Teaching skills – has the patience to teach someone how to do detailed tasks. Positive and professional demeanor with strong sense of urgency. Must be able to multi-task and support other roles as required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. Moving and examining objects at standard reach. Must be able to access and navigate the production facility. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to communicate effectively with others to exchange information
