The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the maintenance team and ensure that all property maintenance, repairs, and safety checks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. This role involves coordinating and managing both preventative and emergency maintenance tasks to ensure the property’s systems, equipment, and facilities remain in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervision & Team Leadership:

    • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians and workers.

  • Maintenance & Repairs:

    • Develop and implement a preventive maintenance plan to minimize equipment breakdowns and ensure optimal operation of facilities.

  • Vendor & Contract Management:

    • Coordinate with third-party vendors for specialized repairs, services, or equipment procurement.
    • Monitor vendor performance and ensure that work is completed per agreements and standards.
  • Compliance & Safety:

    • Ensure compliance with all local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of the property.
    • Ensure the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Resident Communication:

    • Serve as a point of contact for residents regarding maintenance issues.
    • Address and resolve resident maintenance complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.

Duties:

  • Deliver exceptional quality surveys that are on time
  • Produce and deliver control, boundary, topography, ALTA, subdivisions, and construction surveying services
  • Search legal records, survey records, and land titles to obtain information about property boundaries in areas to be surveyed
  • Prepare or supervise preparation of all data, charts, plots, map records, and documents relating to surveys

Requirements:

  • Must have professional land surveyor license
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred), Trimble Access and Microsoft Office
  • Associate degree from a technical or four-year school preferred
  • Five (5) to ten (10) years progressive experience preferred
  • Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions

Our client is looking for a Professional Civil Engineer/Project Manager. This position would be located in Ankeny, IA with occasional travel to Omaha, Nebraska.

Starting Pay: $90,000 – $130,000 (DOE)

Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm (Monday-Friday) Occasional work outside of the main hours.

Duties:

  • Manage projects including residential subdivisions, parking lots, site plans roads/highways, etc.
  • Assist in the design of land development projects from conceptual phase through construction, including grading, utilities, drainage, storm water management, sediment and erosion control, permitting, and regulatory approval.
  • Prepare project specification, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and project schedules (manage deadlines).
  • Involvement in the planning, design, and delivery of projects from start to finish.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • Licensed Professional Civil Engineer
  • Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis
