Our client is looking for Shredder, Packaging and Production Machine Operators.
Long Term Temporary position.
Wage Range: $20.00 to $24.00 based on shift and position
12 hour shifts: 7pm to 7am, Rotating schedule.
Position Summary:
The Machine Operator may operate processing, packaging, computer control system, and material handling equipment to safely produce quality product in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Packaging Operator:
- Operate all machines and equipment necessary to properly process and package finished product
- Must have experience operating a fork truck in a manufacturing environment
- Load, unload, store, sample, and transfer raw materials, finished product, and miscellaneous items
- Maintain equipment through proper lubrication, minor repairs/adjustments; report all malfunctions and needed repairs
- Maintain accurate and complete records and charts
- Routinely sanitize and clean plant equipment and facilities
- Perform material handling duties in accordance with all applicable OSHA and EPA standards
- Effectively communicate with all other team members
- Participate in safety, quality, and productivity improvement projects
- Fill in for overtime requirements including vacation, sick leave, training and others as needed
- Perform other duties and tasks as required
In addition to the Essential Duties and Responsibilities listed above, the Production Machine Operator also must perform the added tasks:
- Perform all required “in process” tests and adjustments
- Review Batch Manufacturing Records for completeness and accuracy
- Make sure all paperwork and forms are available and completed for their shift
- Must be able to operate computer control systems (PLC’s).
