We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals for Forklift Operator positions (Reach Truck and Cherry Picker experience required) at a fast-paced distribution center in West Jefferson, OH.
All departments are currently working 10-hour shifts, with most teams working 6 days a week. Please note: the standard schedule will transition to 5 days, 8-hour shifts in the future.
Available Shifts (5:00 AM – 3:30 PM):
- Shift A: Monday – Friday
- Shift B: Tuesday – Saturday
- Shift C: Wednesday – Sunday
- Shift F: Saturday – Wednesday
- Shift G: Sunday – Thursday
Forklift Operators Will:
- Perform general warehouse duties including picking, packing, and sorting
- Operate Reach Truck and/or Cherry Picker safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts

Your Opportunity as an Onsite Supervisor (Staff Performance Supervisor):
- Anticipate staffing requirements and expectations; develops value-added services to support changing client needs
- Coordinate recruitment, screening, interviewing, and hiring of individuals for assignment
- Maintain timekeeping system and ensure payroll/invoicing is accurate
- Provide productivity, headcount, attendance, and other reports at the client’s request
- Manage employee relations at the site – including coaching, counseling, performance reviews, removal from assignments, and exit interviews
- Conduct onsite orientation, safety training
- Facilitate the initial treatment and reporting of workers’ compensation incidents
- Participate in scheduled service reviews at the client site
- Act as the liaison between the branch office and the client
- Deliver superior customer service and develop relationships with supervisors and associates

Client Site: Typically work is performed is generally offsite at a client’s location that could be an office or other business setting and require travel to and from locations. This position requires compliance for all occupational safety and health standards, rules, and regulations.

This position is responsible for operating a forklift for the purpose of loading and unloading trucks and on occasion

QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience diving a forklift and/or prior exposure to a warehouse environment preferred.

- Must be able to do basic math computation of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- Basic PC skills.
- Must be able to maintain a high level of concentration while operating a forklift and documenting inventory transactions.

Duties:
- Inspect and repair equipment
- Demonstrate ambition to develop personal skills for further advancement
- Make sure all equipment is operating safely
- Make sure preventative maintenance & scheduled maintenance schedules are being followed
- Maintain all trailer inspections and repairs are DOT compliant
- Implement safety program and training (Certification of Uniloader / Bobcat, End loader, Forklift, etc.)
- Track and record all capital expenditures and keep up to date budget
- Track and maintain inventory log of parts so that we do not end up with overstock
Requirements:
- Mechanically inclined, management, and communications skills required
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 2-year degree a plus
- 3 years’ experience in maintenance

This role is still a general warehouse worker.
Core Responsibilities
1. Pallet Auditing- Verify each pallet against outbound load sheets, pick tickets, or order manifests before loading. Check for correct product codes, quantities, and labels. Inspect pallet condition (stability, wrapping, and labeling) to meet quality standards. Document any discrepancies, damages, or shortages in real time and report to the supervisor. Sign off on completed audits before shipment release.
2. Pallet Organization & Staging- Arrange pallets in designated staging lanes based on route, carrier, or delivery priority. Maintain clear labeling for each pallet to ensure easy identification and efficient loading sequence. Keep staging areas organized, with aisles clear for forklift and pallet jack access. Consolidate and align pallets to maximize floor space and minimize load time.
3. Loading Operations- Load outbound trailers or trucks according to loading sequence and weight distribution guidelines. Ensure all pallets are loaded securely to prevent movement or damage during transit. Double-check trailer counts and confirm that all pallets assigned to a load are included. Use proper equipment and techniques to maintain safety and product integrity.
4. Documentation & Reporting- Record all pallet audits and outbound load confirmations electronically or on paper logs. Note any adjustments, substitutions, or missing products on the load sheet. Communicate load completion status and discrepancies to the outbound clerk or dispatcher. Maintain audit trail records for traceability and accountability.
5. Equipment & Area Maintenance- Conduct daily pre-inspections of equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks). Keep loading areas free of debris, shrink wrap, or obstructions. Report equipment or dock door issues immediately to maintenance or management.
6. Safety & Compliance- Follow all company, DOT, and OSHA safety regulations during loading and auditing. Wear appropriate PPE (gloves, safety vest, steel-toe boots, etc.). Participate in regular safety checks and audits.
