Remedy Staffing is hiring a Machine Assistant for a growing steel manufacturing company in Buffalo, NY. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in manufacturing while working in a team-oriented environment.
Pay: $19.00 – $22.00/hr based on experience
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Assist machine operators with setup and production
- Help operate and support metal fabrication equipment
- Read measurements and use measuring tools accurately
- Assist with material handling and inventory organization
- Inspect finished products for quality
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
Qualifications:
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Blueprint reading experience is a plus
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
- Comfortable lifting and handling materials
- Basic computer skills helpful
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
