Position: Social Services & Housing Program Manager
Location: Honolulu
Salary: $80,000 – $95,000 per year annually (depending on experience)
A mission-driven nonprofit organization is seeking an experienced and compassionate Social Services & Housing Program Manager to lead programs that support individuals experiencing housing instability and other life challenges. This leadership role oversees supportive services designed to promote safety, stability, self-sufficiency, and long-term success. The ideal candidate is passionate about serving the community, developing high-performing teams, and creating programs that positively impact the lives of vulnerable populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and oversight for supportive services and case management programs
- Ensure services are trauma-informed, client-centered, and culturally responsive
- Oversee client intake, service planning, case management, and program outcomes
- Support crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and problem-solving efforts as needed
- Continuously evaluate and improve program effectiveness and service delivery
- Supervise, mentor, and support program staff and managers
- Promote a collaborative and mission-focused work environment
- Coordinate staff training, professional development, and performance management activities
- Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations, government agencies, and service providers
- Represent the organization at meetings, collaborative initiatives, and outreach events
- Advocate for programs and resources that support individuals and families in need
- Oversee housing and supportive service program operations to ensure compliance and quality standards
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices
- Monitor program data, outcomes, and reporting requirements
- Support grant management, reporting, and funding compliance activities
- Manage program budgets and resources effectively
- Assist with fundraising, donor engagement, and program sustainability initiatives

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Public Administration, Criminal Justice, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred
- 3+ years of leadership experience in social services, nonprofit management, housing programs, case management, behavioral health, or a related field
- Proven experience supervising and developing staff
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and client-centered service delivery
- Experience with grants, community partnerships, and program evaluation preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
