Position: Business Operations Coordinator
Location: Honolulu
Salary: $55,000 – $65,000 annually, depending on experience
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Operations Coordinator to support a variety of human resources, accounting, project administration, and office operations functions. This role serves as a central point of coordination across multiple areas of the business and works closely with employees, vendors, clients, and leadership to ensure daily operations run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, professional, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Support
- Assist with employee benefits administration and insurance-related matters.
- Support leave administration, workers’ compensation, and employee recordkeeping.
- Maintain personnel files and compliance documentation.
- Assist with onboarding and other employee programs.
Accounting & Payroll Support
- Enter and code accounts payable invoices.
- Support payroll processing and timecard administration.
- Reconcile employee expense reports and company credit card statements.
- Collect and maintain vendor and subcontractor documentation.
Project Administration
- Set up and maintain project files and documentation.
- Prepare contracts, purchase orders, and project-related documents.
- Assist with billing and payment application processes.
- Track compliance documentation and project closeout materials.
Office Operations
- Provide general administrative support to the organization.
- Coordinate meetings, events, and vendor services.
- Assist with facilities, office equipment, and company records.

Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in administrative, office operations, HR, accounting, payroll, or project coordination roles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
