1st Shift Machinist / Parts Processor
Our client is looking for an experienced Machinist. This position is located in Carlisle.
Starting Pay: $20.00-22.00
Hours: 6:30am-4:30pm (Monday – Friday)
Duties:
- Operate all manufacturing equipment including band saws, iron workers, and plasma torches.
- Ensure products are manufactured to quality and safety standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints and material dimensions.
- Read and interpret symbols and materials needed for manufacture.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience with relevant machining.
- Steel toed boots/shoes with metatarsal cover.
- Current Forklift Certification (min of 1 year exp)
- High School diploma or GED.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic mathematics knowledge and understanding of angles.
- Knowledge of and previous experience with all cutting types (Band saw, torch, plasma, and shear).
- Basic Brake Press knowledge.
- Ability to stand and walk for an 8-10 our shift.
- Position could involve working outdoors in all weather conditions including extreme heat or cold.
