Salary: $85,000- $108,000 annually, depending on experience
A well-established Hawaii-based financial institution is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Finance and Accounting team. This role is responsible for delivering insightful financial reporting and analysis, supporting regulatory requirements, and providing meaningful financial data to executive leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and accounting expertise, a deep understanding of financial reporting, and the ability to collaborate across departments to support strategic business initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver timely, accurate financial reports and analyses for management and executive leadership.
- Analyze financial statements, variances, trends, and key performance metrics to support business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory reporting requirements.
- Support external audits and regulatory examinations through reporting and documentation.
- Partner with Accounting, Finance, and operational teams to assess the financial impact of business activities and transactions.
- Maintain the integrity, consistency, and accuracy of financial data across reporting systems.
- Develop and enhance financial reporting processes and procedures.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close and reporting activities.
- Present financial information, analysis, and recommendations to management.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of progressive accounting or financial analysis experience, including at least 2 years within a financial institution.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and financial statement analysis.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience working with financial reporting systems and general ledger structures.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- CPA designation or progress toward CPA certification.
- Experience in banking, credit union, or financial services environments.
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting, including Call Reports, and audit support.
- Experience with Power BI, SQL, or similar data analysis and reporting tools.
