Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable Bending Operator for our Fabrication Department. You will operate manual/mechanical bending equipment to form high-quality aluminum accessories to exact specifications.

Core Responsibilities:

• Operate Equipment: Safely run manual/mechanical bending machines and press brakes to shape aluminum sheets.
• Form Metal Parts: Form components to required angles, adjusting manual controls and physical back gauges.
• Verify Quality: Continuously inspect finished pieces using calipers, tape measures, and protractors to verify dimensions.
• Handle Material: Prevent surface scratches or cosmetic damage to aluminum parts.
• Move Parts: Safely lift and organize finished parts onto production carts for the next department.

Requirements:

• Previous experience with bending machines, press brakes, or sheet metal fabrication.
• Ability to read basic fabrication drawings and work orders.
• Proficiency using manual measurement tools (calipers, protractors).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for an 8-hour shift in a non-climate controlled environment.
• Strong attention to detail to catch cosmetic or structural defects.
