Assembler / Machine Operator
Our client is looking for an individual who is mechanically inclined to perform assembly projects and machine operating. This is a long-term, temp-to-hire role located in Urbandale. Opportunities for promotion available upon hire-on.
Starting Pay: $17.00 – $20.00/Hour
Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm (Monday-Friday)
Job Duties:
- Using basic hand and power tools to assemble kits.
- Cutting plastics to the proper length (basic measurement knowledge).
- Moving products on to a router machine table using an air lift.
- Moving products with pallet jack and/or forklift in warehouse to properly stage raw materials or finished products to the correct areas.
- Keeping the work environment clean and safe.
Requirements:
- Excellent attendance and track record of longevity.
- Ability to follow directions and protocols.
- Properly measure and cut materials to 1/8th of an inch.
- Ability to operate or learn sit-down forklift as needed.
