We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to support fermentation laboratory operations and maintain laboratory readiness. This role is responsible for laboratory housekeeping, equipment preparation, sterilization activities, inventory management, safety inspections, and supporting research and development experiments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain laboratory workspaces, equipment, and reusable materials.

• Prepare, assemble, label, and sterilize materials used in fermentation experiments.

• Assist with reactor setup, cleaning, teardown, and equipment preparation.

• Receive, stock, organize, and track laboratory supplies and consumables.

• Perform routine safety inspections and support waste disposal procedures.

• Follow GMP, OSHA, EPA, and laboratory safety standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in a scientific field preferred.

• 1-2 years of laboratory experience preferred.

• Basic computer and documentation skills.

• Ability to learn laboratory equipment operation and obtain forklift certification.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., wear PPE, and work in a laboratory environment.
