Welder – Mig

Work half day on Fridays! We have immediate temp-to-hire opening. This position is a welding position making cold storage systems such as deli, floral, and wine cases.

Pay $20.00+ /Hour (DOE)

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:00pm. Friday 8:00am-Non (Leave at Noon on Fridays if you have 40 hours in or stay for Over Time!)

Duties:

1. Basic knowledge of MIG welding.
2. Measure, cut and assemble sheet metal products.
3. Operate a band saw.Work with basic hand tools; hammer, screw drivers & tape measure. 
4. Working in a team environment to assemble products.
5. Ability to trouble shoot and resolve problems.
6. Ability to read or learn to read blue prints and schematics.

Job Requirements:

1. Ability to lift, push, pull 30+ pounds on a constant basis.
2. Ability to push, pull & lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
3. Ability to measure correctly to an 8th of an inch and make precision cuts.
4. Previous construction or building experience (framing, rough or finish carpentry) is strongly preferred.
5. Must have reliable transportation and steel toed boots.
