Job Opening: Weigh-up Tech

Basic weighing or measuring of materials, or products.  Ability to follow instructions precisely on the batch record. Observe equipment operations so that abnormalities can be detected and escalate abnormalities timely and appropriately.  Collect product samples and prepare them for laboratory analysis and testing. Cleaning of compounding equipment (tanks/pumps/utensils). Maintain a clean and organized work area. Cleaning of portable equipment, such as pumps, fillers, storage containers, stationary storage tanks and return cleaned parts to designated storage areas. Ability to read and determine batch requirements. Follow all EPC Safety/Environmental, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Lean 5S policies and regulation guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned.Required Skills and Experience High school diploma or GED required from an accredited institution.  Basic math and computer skills required. Must be able to read, write and understand English. Ability to follow detailed instructions and be detailed oriented. Ability and willingness to work closely with others and departments. Ability to document and communicate properly. Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
