Schedule: Day shift 7:00am-3:30pm
Availability: Must be available 7 days a week (occasional on call)
Pay: $11.83 per hour (Opportunity for overtime and additional hours)

We are currently seeking a Water Utility Technician to assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of municipal water systems. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, solving problems, and providing an essential public service.
Responsibilities
- Assist with maintaining and repairing water lines, valves, and hydrants
- Locate leaks and help with water line repairs
- Read water meters and record data accurately
- Respond to service calls and support emergency repairs when needed
- Operate basic tools, equipment, and service vehicles
- Ensure job sites are safe, clean, and compliant with regulations
- Report issues or system concerns to supervisors
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license GED/High School Diploma required
- Previous utility, construction, or maintenance experience
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to use tools and perform physical labor
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and motivated
- Must be available for occasional after hours or on call work
