Industrial Painter

This position will be responsible for prepping and painting metal products. Ability to work overtime is required.

Pay Range: $22.00-$25.00/hour

Hours: 6:00pm-6:00am M-F, Occasional Saturdays.

Duties:

• Priming of all different sizes and shape of materials per AISC specs.
• Electrostat painting.
• Perform daily maintenance routines on paint equipment.
• Identify and mask areas that are not to be painted.
• Use proper paint application procedures.
• Inspect paint job in progress for quality problems, such as runs and missed areas.
• Coordinate flow of and complete necessary paperwork.
• Perform quality checks including visual and electronic mill testing.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 12 month industrial painting (automotive or parts) experience.
• Required to wear a respirator while working in paint booth
• Ability to use hand and/or power tools and equipment 
• Must know how to operate a Lull, Skid Loader and Fork Lift
