Production Mechanic
Second Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-2am with OT available
Responsibilities:
- Perform machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers to support production needs
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues on production equipment
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance and reliability
- Respond to emergency and unscheduled equipment breakdowns in a timely manner
- Dismantle machinery, replace or repair defective components, and reassemble equipment
- Install, maintain, and disconnect utilities including air, gas, water, steam, drain, and vacuum systems
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment efficiency and uptime
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of industrial mechanic experience in a manufacturing setting
- Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required
Preferred Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and documentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
