Quality Assurance Specialist

Pay: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Remedy Staffing is currently seeking a detail-oriented

Quality Assurance Specialist to join a growing team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment serving the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and document First Article Inspections (FAIs) in accordance with AS9102 requirements
• Prepare and complete AS9102 Forms 1, 2, and 3
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and purchase orders to verify compliance of assemblies
• Create ballooned drawings to ensure all characteristics are identified and traceable
• Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes
• Verify material certifications, special process certifications, and test reports
• Maintain accurate and organized inspection reports and quality documentation

Qualifications

• Prior experience with AS9102 First Article Inspection requirements required
• Strong quality background, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing environments
• Working knowledge of aerospace quality standards such as AS9100
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
• Experience using inspection tools and measurement techniques
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
