Set Up Technician

2nd Shift- 3pm-11pm Monday-Friday

The primary purpose of this position is to set up, maintain, operate, test, inspect, and repair manufacturing equipment and finished products in compliance with FDA, GMP, and ISO 13485 standards. This role plays a key part in ensuring product quality, minimizing scrap, maintaining a safe work environment, and supporting continuous process improvement within the department.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain, test, inspect, and troubleshoot production equipment and associated departmental machinery
• Perform equipment repairs and routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and product quality
• Ensure all activities comply with FDA regulations, GMP requirements, ISO 13485 standards, and finished product specifications
• Monitor production processes to minimize scrap, reduce waste, and improve efficiency
• Promote and maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment
• Identify process issues and communicate relevant information to management to support equipment optimization and process correction
• Assist with training and supporting personnel across assigned production areas
• Facilitate efficient workflow while ensuring consistent adherence to quality standards
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to overall operational excellence.
