Receptionist
Status: Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Position Summary
The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and callers at a reputable law firm. This role requires a polished, professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain a welcoming environment while providing exceptional administrative support. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-service oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced professional setting.
Primary Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors in a professional, courteous, and timely manner
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining client confidentiality
- Assist with general clerical and administrative tasks, including:
- Filing, copying, scanning, and data entry
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail
- Maintaining a clean and organized reception area
- Support attorneys and staff with additional administrative projects as needed
Qualifications
- Prior receptionist or customer service experience preferred (law firm experience a plus)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Proficiency with standard office software (Microsoft Office, phone systems, etc.)
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
