Animal Welfare Specialist – Full Time
The Animal Welfare Specialist supports animal services and community services operations through field work, animal care support, and public interaction. This role focuses on animal well-being, responsible ownership, and service response in a community setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to animal-related service requests and community calls
- Conduct animal welfare checks and basic condition assessments
- Provide public assistance and education related to animal care
- Assist with safe animal handling, transport, and field activities once hired on permanent
- Complete reports, records, and documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in animal services, animal care, field services, or community services preferred
- Knowledge of animal handling and welfare principles
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid High School Diploma
