Job Opening: Press Apprentice

Remedy Staffing is looking for a 2nd shift Press Apprentice in North Syracuse!

Pay: $17.50 -18.00 / hr

Shift: 2nd, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM

Location: North Syracuse

Job duties may include:

Responsible for assisting press operators with set-up, cleanup, job changes, and pre-stages

Ensure pressrooms are clean and maintained with necessary materials

Attend to paper staging areas when needed

Be attentive and receptive to supervisor, press operator and pre-stage training and feedback

Unloaded and loading materials from Machines

Inventory Management 

Knowledge of machines, tools, computers up to and including design, use, repairs, and maintenance

Ability to speak, write, and read English

Manual dexterity for cutting, grasping, guiding, pressing, pulling, pushing, rolling, typing, and turning

Excellent hand and eye coordination

Ability to identify issues and problems

Ability to decipher colors

Ability to understand mathematical applications (measurements, logic, etc)

Experience Required:

Printing and labeling and / or machine experience is required

This position is a pre-req for a press operator role meaning room for advancement!
