Job Opening: CNC Lathe Machinist – Schofield

Machinists, Your Next Opportunity is Here! We’re hiring for a 2nd Shift Machinist role in Schofield, WI. This direct-hire position offers a competitive pay and a convenient 2nd shift schedule (2:00 PM – 12:00 AM, Monday-Friday).

Job Duties and Requirements:

• Conduct inspection of parts during run per the work instruction and maintain part specification
• Responsible for maintaining tooling/inserts
• Conduct daily/weekly maintenance inspections of equipment and record
• Follow established material handling procedures
• May operate other equipment/machines as directed by supervision
• Must maintain flexibility as job or machining priorities change day to day
• Follow all safety rules while performing job functions

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two year Associates Degree in Machine Tool techniques or two years of on the job training experience required
• Long bed machining experience preferred
• Must be able to read and understand blue prints
• Set up and operate precision measurement equipment; micrometer, caliper, and bore gauges
• Must be able to work independently

Note: Training will be provided on 1st shift.
