Job Requirements
- Previous Machine Operator experience of at least 2 years
- Attention to detail
- Basic Math
- Able to multi-task and identify problems
- Job Responsibilities
- Follow safety guidelines, and additional PPE where required
- Follow standard work instructions as assigned
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Troubleshoot machine equipment issues

DUTIES:
- Follow all OSHA, FSSC, GMP, and company safety standards.
- Splice rolls to specified quantity and dimensions per customer job ticket requirements.
- Operate tabletop rewind equipment when needed.
- Examine print quality for defects, such as imperfect die cuts, ink spots, ink saturation, registration skipping, incorrect color pattern, incorrect count, or loose or uncut rolls.
- Pack finished product into boxes according to customer job ticket requirements, in preparation for shipment or finished goods inventory.
- Perform basic maintenance using hand tools as needed.
- Annotate quantity and quality discrepancies, downtime, make-ready time, and run time in DCU.
- Clean machine components as needed.
- Maintain clean workspace according to housekeeping standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement events as needed.
- Train new teammates as needed, upon being fully qualified.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: 1+ years’ experience in fast-paced work environment, preferably in manufacturing; proven track record of dependability and strong work ethic.
- Skills: Quality control analysis, active listening, critical thinking, reading comprehension, time management, and troubleshooting.
- Abilities: Near vision, visual color discrimination, written comprehension, finger dexterity, lifting up to 50 pounds, and long periods of stationary standing.
- Ability to work occasional overtime/Saturdays once fully trained.
