Description
- Position: Accounting Assistant
- Location: Honolulu

- Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm
- Pay: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour, depending on experience

Job Duties:
- Perform general bookkeeping work, including entering timesheet data and vendor invoices, maintaining records, invoices and supporting documents of amounts due for items purchased or services rendered.
- Create, maintain and distribute preliminary and final billing to team members.
- Create itemized statements, invoices and other necessary billing documents for clients.
- Support AR / AP and all related functions.
- Verifies accuracy of billing data and correcting any errors.
- Ensure completion of special projects and administrative duties as they are assigned by supervisor.
- Responding in a timely manner to internal requests by managerial staff, colleagues and vendors.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associates degree in Accounting or comparable 1-3 years of work experience, preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft applications (excel, word, etc.).
- Flexibility during monthly billing time.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging business environment.
- A team player with good verbal and written communications skills.
- Commitment to working efficiently, accurately and meeting deadlines.
- General knowledge and understanding of accounting procedures.
