The Customer Service Representative is the day to day interface between our customers and the client factory, providing support for order management, delivery status, material returns, replacements, complaints, and general inquiries, focusing on achieving total customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Essential Functions, Key Tasks, & Responsibilities:(include the following, other duties may be assigned)

  • Order management:
    • Maintain customer price lists in the ERP system to match those published by Product Manager
    • Review & approve customer purchase order
    • Plan ship date based on capacity and material availability
    • Create sales order in ERP system
    • Acknowledge order to customer
    • Provide input to the Sales & Operations Planning process
  • Delivery:
    • Track and expedite sales orders to ensure on-time delivery to customer request date and provide proactive updates to the customer
    • Provide input to defining priorities when production is faced with constraints
    • Coordinate with shipping and the customer to align with last minute changes
  • Material returns & replacements:
    • Coordinate with Technical Services and the customer to create Return Material Authorization (RMA) for defective material
    • Manage the retrieval of defective material from the customer’s factory and it’s return to our factory
    • Create and manage the sales order for replacement material and provide updates to the customer
    • Manage RMA to final disposition and closure
    • Manage, drive, or support product recall programs if needed
  • Customer complaints & inquiries:
    • Log and track customer communications in Salesforce
    • Facilitate and answer inquiries relating to packing lists, tracking information, product pricing, pricing errors, delivery errors, lead times, material availability, customs import/export compliance
    • Drive all issues to closure in a manner that the customer is satisfied
  • Projects:
    • Support company projects relating to new product releases, design changes, process improvements.
    • Lead team level projects that result in improvements to customer satisfaction or processes.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and orderly workplace.
  • Understanding and complying with quality policy, procedures and instructions to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, attainment of business goals and environmental well-being.
    • Provide shipping confirmation and information to customer
    • Track and report customer on-time delivery, identifying causes for late delivery and facilitate implementation of long term corrective actions

A key member in the Sales & Marketing team working under the guidance of the Director of Product Management and will have a wide range of responsibility and oversight of compressor products.  This broad role includes responsibilities which traverses other areas such as project management, sales support, product marketing and ERP system (SAP) maintenance. This will include new compressor products as well as aftermarket and service offerings.  Product Managers work cross functionally in a strategic as well as tactical capacity to ensure the profitable growth of the company.   

Essential Functions, Key Tasks, & Responsibilities:

Product and Project Management

  • Act the key representative for Sales & Marketing on projects including NPD and non-NPD
  • Support product qualification and market validation efforts with customers
  • Develop promotional tools to support the customer introduction process and sales ramp up
  • Provide support through leading departmental projects
  • Submit and justify NPD and non-NPD project requests/submittals through proper definition of product specification and business cases

 Sales and Technical Support

  • Support to Sales, FSEs, and Applications Engineering covering all products in your scope

Responsible for sales commission plan accounting, reporting and system administration. Rote will work directly with Finance, Human Resources and Sales Operations to improve process and controls. Position will also interface directly with Sales Account Executives to forecast and analyze commissions.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

        Accountable for accurate commission calculations, commission reporting and commission accounting.

        Creates programming rules in Xactly (commission software) to ensure commissions are calculated accurately and according to commission plans.

        Researches, troubleshoots and resolves Xactly system problems to ensure accurate data flow to our accounting system.

        Point of contact for Xactly system changes, user administration, system updates and training of new sales account executives on the system.

Research and respond to any commission inquiries, disputes and interface with sales executives on exception requests.

        Provides management reports and analysis of commission data, gross profit rankings, revenue attainment and other related queries.

Recommends and implements system/process enhancements and modifications to meet changing business needs.

        Various daily and month end accounting responsibilities as directed including G/L maintenance, G/L entries, reconciliations and reporting.

May also assist in budget preparation and analysis.  Other duties as assigned.
