Ensure all pallets are loaded securely to prevent movement or damage during transit. Double-check trailer counts and confirm that all pallets assigned to a load are included. Use proper equipment and techniques to maintain safety and product integrity.

4. Documentation & Reporting- Record all pallet audits and outbound load confirmations electronically or on paper logs. Note any adjustments, substitutions, or missing products on the load sheet. Communicate load completion status and discrepancies to the outbound clerk or dispatcher. Maintain audit trail records for traceability and accountability.

5. Equipment & Area Maintenance- Conduct daily pre-inspections of equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks). Keep loading areas free of debris, shrink wrap, or obstructions. Report equipment or dock door issues immediately to maintenance or management.

6. Safety & Compliance- Follow all company, DOT, and OSHA safety regulations during loading and auditing. Wear appropriate PPE (gloves, safety vest, steel-toe boots, etc.). Participate in regular safety checks and audits.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Hand select orders within various warehouse environments of fluctuating temperatures, including dry, cooler, and freezer.
