Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Pay Rate: $17.00/hour

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the efficient flow of materials throughout the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify all items being received and/or shipped to and from the warehouse.
• Inspect materials for discrepancies, shortages, or obvious damages and report issues promptly.
• Ensure the accuracy of daily receiving reports and shipping logs.
• Maintain and file all required documentation according to established procedures.
• Route incoming materials within the facility as directed.
• Maintain accurate warehouse records and inventory documentation.
• Assist with additional warehouse duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to follow warehouse procedures and shipping/receiving processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience & Education

• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.
