Job Summary:
The Welder is responsible for performing welding operations to join, fabricate, and repair metal parts and assemblies according to specifications. This role ensures all work meets safety standards, quality requirements, and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.

• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment (MIG, TIG, Stick, or other processes as required).

• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.

• Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.

• Grind, cut, or finish welded joints as needed.

• Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment and tools.

• Follow company safety procedures, including use of PPE and adherence to OSHA standards.

• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

• Collaborate with production team members to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Previous welding experience required (MIG/TIG/Stick).

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

• Manufacturing or fabrication shop experience preferred.

• Welding certifications a plus.
