Associates working at this location will perform a variety of tasks in the manufacturing process to make energy efficient, custom-made replacement vinyl windows.
2nd shift: 5:00 pm - 5:00 am
JOB DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:
- Read, follow, and understand stand work, procedures and directions supplied for window order to meet customer requirements
 - Sorting and cutting material for each window order
 - Assembly of frame and sash sections
 - Installing hardware, trimming, and cleaning
 - Ensure correct hardware used
 - Preparing glass for installation
 - Final assembly of unit
 - Wrap product and prep for shipping
 - Other duties as assigned

WAREHOUSE CUSTOMER SERVICE CLERK
Remedy Staffing is pleased to work with some of the finest companies in the Eastern Iowa. Our client is looking for a qualified shipping/receiving clerk to join their team in Walford, Iowa.
The ideal candidate must have computer experience, familiarity with WMS software, appreciate the importance of good customer service, familiarity with managing freight movement, entering transactions and customer communication.
First Shift - 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday, plus possible overtime
Hourly Rate: $19.00
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Work with customers to coordinate shipments to and from warehouse to meet delivery
 - requirements
 - Generate associated documents including warehouse pick sheets, packing lists,
 - and bills of lading
 - Receive inbound freight and verify contents; reconcile product received with packing list information
 - to identify any discrepancies
 - Create and apply labels to properly identify parts per customer specifications
 - Communicate with customer and carriers for transporting customer orders and receipts including
 - greeting drivers as they arrive, communicating loading and unloading instructions, and signing
 - necessary documents
 - Promptly communicate any problems to the customer associated with outbound shipments and
 - inbound receipts, including product availability, damage, inventory discrepancies, and carrier issues
 - Furnish customer with inventory reports such as stock status, transaction history, and tracing
 - information as requested
 - Enter inventory transactions into the warehouse management system (WMS) or customer-specific data
 - system and manage the integrity of inventory accuracy and file all paper documents accurately
 - Effectively communicate with warehouse operations to ensure proper scheduling of activities
 - including inbound and outbound freight, physical inventories, cycle counts, and special customer
 - requests/projects
 - Must be willing to follow all site GMP rules
 - Keep warehouse management informed of customer feedback and any signs of customer
 - dissatisfaction

Job Requirements:
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- The warehouse environment can be dusty, dry, and humid, with temperature ranges between 40 – 90 degrees, in warm and cold months
 - Some odors might be present dependent upon the product in storage
 - Food allergens may be present in the warehouse
 - Must be able to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to walk, stoop, hear and talk on a regular basis
 - Must be able to lift-up to fifty pounds on occasion
 - Must work in a safe manner and be aware of hazards in the warehouse, such as fork truck traffic
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be an organized individual who is able to handle multiple tasks at a time while effectively
 - communicating with customers and warehouse operations with both written and verbal communication
 - Must be able to identify and resolve problems as they come up
 - Attention to detail and accuracy in all work is a must
 - Requires manual dexterity to work with keyboard and ability to read and write accurate numbers and
 - product labeling and sample production
 - Prior customer service and/or warehouse experience preferred
 
OTHER EXPERIENCE:
- General office experience, including telephone and computer skills

Long Term Temporary position, for the right candidate this could be a Temp-To-Hire opportunity!
Wage Range: $19.00 to $24.00 based on shift and position
12 hour shifts: 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am
Position Summary:
The Production Packaging Operator and the Machine Operator may operate processing, packaging, computer control system, and material handling equipment to safely produce quality product in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Packaging Operator:
- Operate all machines and equipment necessary to properly process and package finished product
 - Must have experience operating a fork truck in a manufacturing environment
 - Load, unload, store, sample, and transfer raw materials, finished product, and miscellaneous items
 - Maintain equipment through proper lubrication, minor repairs/adjustments; report all malfunctions and needed repairs
 - Maintain accurate and complete records and charts
 - Routinely sanitize and clean plant equipment and facilities
 - Perform material handling duties in accordance with all applicable OSHA and EPA standards
 - Effectively communicate with all other team members
 - Participate in safety, quality, and productivity improvement projects
 - Fill in for overtime requirements including vacation, sick leave, training and others as needed

In addition to the Essential Duties and Responsibilities listed above, the Production Machine Operator also must perform the added tasks:
- Perform all required "in process" tests and adjustments

This opportunity is on Day Shift, hours are 7am - 3:30pm. Monday - Friday.

The Packaging Department Assistant Supervisor is a physical job, in addition to assisting the Floor Supervisor, you would be responsible for replenishing product and materials for each table build.
Therefore you must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Job Duties Include:
- Ensure all products and materials correct for that day’s build as well as correct quantities.
 - Refill product and materials for lines as needed.
 - Ensure all associates are staying on task.

Job Duties:
- Cleaning restrooms, break and locker rooms, and office areas
 - Including railings, racks, guard rails, and floors, based on sanitation schedule
 - The role will require someone to work in hot and cold weather, cleaning exterior areas of the building, including but not limited to windows, walkways, emptying trash containers, in addition to the interior tasks
