Temporary Forklift Operator 

Our client is looking for several skilled forklift operators who can also work on a production line when needed. This is a temporary position with a possibility of temp-to-hire with strong attendance and performance lasting through May.

Location: Carlisle, IA

2nd Shift: 2:30pm-11pm

Pay: $22.75/hour

Job Duties:

• Safely loads, unloads, moves and stacks product using a forklift or other material handling equipment.
• Properly utilizes a warehouse management system and maintains appropriate work documents.
• Safely picks, wraps, counts, weighs, inventories or tags products and materials.
• Safely loads outbound freight; receives inbound loads.
• Properly stages material within designated areas.
• Correctly inspects material handling equipment and performs basic maintenance to ensure safe operations.
• Properly inspects trailers prior to loading or unloading freight.
• Maintains the cleanliness and order of work areas.
• 50% forklift duties 50% warehouse (cleaning, picking, bagging)

Requirements:

• 2 years of sit down forklift experience.
• Ability to lift 50-60 pounds throughout the day.
• Ability to read alphanumeric labels with high accuracy.
• Prioritizes safety.
