MIG Welder

Job Location: Tyler, TX

Pay: $20.50/hr

2nd Shift:

• M-TH: 3:15 PM – 1:45 AM
• FRI: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• SAT (as needed): 12:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on steel components according to production schedules and quality standards
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, weld symbols, and production drawings
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure parts are produced to print and meet dimensional specifications
• Inspect materials and completed welds for defects, quality, and accuracy
• Perform visual weld inspections and identify areas requiring rework or repair
• Use measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, and gauges to verify specifications
• Grind, clean, and prepare metal surfaces before and after welding as needed
• Maintain production quotas while ensuring quality workmanship
• Complete all required production, quality, and safety documentation accurately and on time
• Report equipment issues, material shortages, or safety concerns to supervisors
• Assist with material handling, loading, unloading, and movement of fabricated parts throughout the facility

Qualifications

• Previous MIG welding experience required
• Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings
• Experience using measuring tools and inspection equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
