Seeking a Research & Development Associate to support fermentation and microbiology research in a laboratory environment. Responsibilities include conducting bench-scale fermentation experiments, preparing media and cultures, operating bioreactors and laboratory equipment, collecting samples, performing routine testing, analyzing data, and accurately documenting results.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field.
• Hands-on laboratory experience and strong documentation skills.
• Knowledge of fermentation, microbiology, and/or molecular biology techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to interpret experimental data and identify trends.
• Experience with LIMS and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., wear required PPE, and work safely in a laboratory setting.
