Remedy Staffing is currently accepting applications for a Maintenance Helper with experience troubleshooting and repairing machinery. This is a great temp-to-hire opportunity for candidates with a strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on maintenance experience.

Pay: Starting at $16.00/hour and up, based on experience

Shift:

• Monday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Friday: 6:00 AM – 1:30 PM
• 30-minute unpaid lunch

Overtime may be required based on production schedules and business needs. Advance notice will be provided whenever possible. Flexibility for emergency repairs is preferred, although emergency call-ins are generally not expected until becoming a permanent employee.

Job Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment and machinery
• Assist with machinery installations
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks
• Support maintenance projects and equipment upkeep
• Help maintain safe and efficient production operations

Qualifications

• Previous experience troubleshooting and repairing machinery
• Experience with equipment installation and maintenance
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• PLC and/or computer experience is a plus, but not required

Important Information

• Temporary employees will not perform Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Temporary employees will not perform electrical work.
• This position focuses on mechanical maintenance and repair support.
