Job Opening: General Sanitation Associate

Position Summary: Maintains a clean, sanitary, safe, and food-ready distribution environment by cleaning warehouse areas, equipment, floors, docks, storage locations, and other assigned spaces. The position helps protect product integrity while supporting food-safety and workplace-safety standards. 

Typical Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize warehouse and operational areas according to established schedules and procedures.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, wash, and remove debris from floors and work areas.
• Clean docks, racks, equipment, break areas, and other assigned locations.
• Collect and dispose of trash, cardboard, damaged materials, and other waste appropriately.
• Use approved cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment safely.
• Respond to spills or other housekeeping/sanitation issues promptly.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, PPE, chemical-handling, and workplace-safety requirements.
• Assist with maintaining clean refrigerated, freezer, and dry-storage areas.
• Identify and report sanitation, safety, pest-control, equipment, or facility concerns.
• Complete assigned sanitation tasks and documentation as required.
• Work around warehouse traffic and material-handling equipment while maintaining safe work practices.
• Support periodic deep-cleaning or special sanitation projects.
