Remedy Staffing is now hiring for 1st shift Davenport Multi-Spindle Machine Operators in Syracuse, NY!

Position: Davenport Machine Operator

Pay: $21.00 – $30.00 / hr DOE

Location: Syracuse, NY

Hours: 5:30 AM – 3:30 PM Monday – Thursday and 5:30 AM – 9:30 AM Fridays

Days: Monday – Friday

Overtime may be available

Responsibilities:

Operate a line of multiple spindle screw machines

Maintain production levels and quality standards and tool log sheets

Load bar stock and pull chips

Make adjustments and minor repairs to machines as well as preventative maintenance

Experience Required:

2+ years of screw machine experience

Ability to use micrometers and other measuring devices

Ability to read and interpret drawings like blueprints

What you need to succeed:

Strong mechanical aptitude

Mathematical skills

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Ability to use various tools and measuring tools

Screw machine operation experience

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand entire shift

Ability to use ladders/stairs
