Job Opening: Upholsterer

Remedy Staffing is now hiring for 1st shift Upholster in Liverpool, NY!

Position: Upholster

Pay: $20.00 – 24.00 / hr

Location: Liverpool, NY

Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Days: Monday – Friday

Responsibilities:

Responsible for full panel and chair reupholstery from disassembly through finished product

Cut, prep, and sew replacement fabric on industrial sewing machines

Stretch, wrap, and fasten new fabric to panels and chair frames to specs

Reassemble finished pieces to original or upgraded configuration

Operate industrial sewing machine, pneumatic staple guns, foam cutting tools, hand tools, measuring tools, etc.

What you need to succeed:

2 or more years of professional upholstery experience

Proficiency with industrial sewing machines including straight stitch and seam work

Ability to read work orders, patterns, and shop drawings

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Physical Requirements:

Standing and moving entire shift

Lift up to 50 pounds

Repetitive hand and arm motions
